TERRITORIALISM

Apple of My Eye

By Patrick Redmond

Genre:Novel

Synopsis:

Ronnie Sidney is perfect, his mother's little ray of sunshine. He can do no wrong, although sometimes he wants to, especially to people who look down on him and his mother, and their drab existence. And if bad things should happen to them - why, it's nothing to do with him. He's a good boy. Everybody says so.
Susan Ramsey was once perfect too, cherished by her parents, a popular girl at school. A nice girl in a nice home. Then her dad died and her mum remarried. The way her stepfather cherished her wasn't very nice at all.

So then they meet, Ronnie and Susan, become teenage sweethearts. If the world wasn't so wrong they'd be the perfect couple. But Ronnie can set that right. He's a good boy. Everybody says so.
Each recognises the soulmate for whom they have longed. At last Ronnie feels able to remove his mask of perfection. But, like Pandora's Box, what is released can never again be restrained.

Analysis:
The novel is about Ronnie Sidney whom everybody thinks was a perfect young boy. It also tells about how a mother loves her child to the point that she refuses to believe what she thinks and saw. Anna, the mother of Ronnie believes that her little  Ronnie Sunshine won't do any harm to any anybody as what everybody says so. Ronnie Sidney wants his mother to love only him and he doesn't want to have any share of his mother's love. He doesn't want someone hurt his loved ones and that they only belong to him. Susan Ramsey and Ronnie Sidney think like how old people should think, unlike other ordinary teenagers. Their plans were sick and out of control! And their love was strong, so strong that even their own lives or anyone's won't matter .
